  • Your attachment is when you feel an emotional bond between you and some person or a thing, which makes you feel more secure in their presence. It’s great to feel that way, but the problem is that attachments cause unhappiness, especially those outside our reasoned choice and control.

  • Make connections, not attachments. It is an attachment to an image of a person, wealth, place, or time that makes it hard for you to accept change. It keeps you away from reality, and you become slaves to the status quo. Keep yourself away from unhealthy people and bad habits. Your attachment to them takes your life out of balance.

  • Let go of attachments, even to the beautiful ones. Our mind is pretty flexible, and we can continuously adapt and accept whatever happens. Accept the things and people that come into your life and allow them to leave if they have to. Fewer attachments bring more peace.

But that’s just my take. Comment and share yours.
